In 2015 the Dallas Cowboys were one of the preseason favorites to get to the Super Bowl. They had great talent, and they were bringing excitement to the football world.
Tony Romo was looking to have a career defining season. All of that came to a grinding halt early in the 2015 season as the Dallas Cowboys experienced turbulence that the team could never really recover from.
They are led by their Head Coach Jason Garrett, a former Cowboys quarterback who has been at the helm for the past few years. Since becoming the Dallas head coach, Garrett’s team has failed to get to the Super Bowl. This year might be a different season.
Tony Romo is the quarterback for the Cowboys. He has been the starter for years, and is one of the best in the league. Romo became injured early in the season with a fractured collarbone. He made a brief return later in the season only to be sidelined again. Now fully healed he will lead the Cowboys in 2016.
The Cowboys are looking for a better season this year, and at 18/1 odds to win the Super Bowl in 2017, you might be able to count them as being one of the teams that could actually win Super Bowl LI.
The Cleveland Browns are a team hoping for a turnaround in 2016. In order to do so they will have to improve in one of the toughest divisions in football, the AFC North. The Browns finished last in the division last year behind two playoff teams. The Browns are making some major personnel changes in order to bring the franchise back to respectability.
New head coach Hue Jackson appears up for the challenge. Jackson was turning around a bad Raiders that finished at 8-8 in his only season there. His success working as an offensive coordinator with the Bengals gives the Browns hope for a turnaround this year. Below we will cover that and all you need to know on how to bet on NFL games online this coming season.
New quarterback Robert Griffin III will be called upon to lead the Browns offensive. Griffin had success as a rookie in Washington and the Browns are hoping that a new team and a complete season off will bring back some of the magic from RG3’s rookie year. Griffin was the Offensive Rookie of the year in 2012, throwing for more than 3,000 yards and rushing for more than 800.
The sportsbooks give the Browns almost no chance of winning the Super Bowl at 200/1 odds. Playing in January is probably not likely, but with a new coach and quarterback the Browns should be better than last year.
The Indianapolis Colts are a team that have a history of having potent and lethal offensive attacks. These attacks formerly led by the likes of Eric Dickerson, then Payton Manning, and now being led by a Stanford Graduate, Andrew Luck.
The Coach
The Colts chief play caller, Chuck Pagano, a position he has held since 2012, since he left as the Defensive Coordinator for the Ravens. With Chuck Pagano’s tenure as head coach of the Colts, he is currently supporting a record of 41-23 with three playoff appearances. This man on the sideline makes the Colts a championship caliber only with his determination of leadership.
The Odds in front of this team to make a Super Bowl LI appearance is always favorable under the leadership of Andrew Luck and Chuck Pagano. These two men find the way to utilize the talents of Frank Gore, Daniel Anthrop, and Josh Boyce to dominate their opponents through air and ground assaults.
Meanwhile, the online sports books have placed the betting odds on the Colts at 20 to 1. Some of the regular season hurdles that the Colts will have to overcome is a second week battle against Denver, which will be played in the Mile High city.
In addition, the Colts will have their first return to Lambeau Field in week 9, since 2008. However, if these hurdles can be overcome then the Colts stand a great chance of becoming the AFC Champion and providing Pagano his first Super Bowl Appearance.
The Buffalo Bills are a team that appears ready to make a run for the playoffs in 2016. They will have to show improvement over last season if they want to overcome the New England Patriots and the New York Jets in the AFC East. The Bills were a solid 8-8 last year, but still finished two games behind the Jets, who fell just short of a wild card birth themselves.
Head Coach Rex Ryan may very well be on the hot seat heading into this season. Despite great success at his previous stops, Ryan has been unable to get the Bills into the playoffs so far in Buffalo. Expectations will be high this year.
Ryan will need a big season from quarterback Tyrod Taylor in order to make the postseason. The young quarterback has shown flashes of being great with his big arm and 4.4 speed. He finished last season with more than 3000 passing yards and nearly 600 yards rushing. With a year of starter experience under his belt, the Bills are hoping for big things from Taylor in the upcoming season.
The sportsbooks are giving the Bills only a 45/1 chance of winning this years Super Bowl. That said the Bills should be a much improved team considering their off-season moves and expectations will be very high for the season.
The Carolina Panthers are probably the most dangerous team in the NFL this upcoming season. They were the most prolific and exciting of the 2015 season only to fall to the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl.
Head Coach Ron Rivera led his team to an unbelievable season in 2015. He masterminded the Panthers to a 15-1 record in the NFC that helped secure the Panthers a spot in the Super Bowl. The Panthers have incredible respect and loyalty for coach Rivera.
Cam Newton is the high-flying quarterback leading the charge on the field. Newton has only a few years of NFL experience under his belt, but he is playing with the poise, leadership, and numbers of a veteran. His play in 2016 is key for the Panthers to win the NFC again and get back to the biggest spectacle on earth, the Super Bowl. For information on how to bet on the Carolina Panthers for 2016 then check out our NFL betting odds explained section.
The Panthers look to have an excellent year and are one of the favorites to win it all in the NFL. The Panthers have to get past a number of great teams with high playoff potential, but at 13/1 odds for the preseason to win it all, they are a team you can safely bet on.
The Chicago Bears finished fourth in the NFC North Division in 2015 with a 6-10 record. If the Bears want to finish higher and possibly attain a playoff spot in the post-season then they are going to have to make some changes.
John Fox, the head coach for the Bears, knows that they can’t have a repeat of last year’s failures. His team must ramp of the competition on the field, and the personnel have been working all off-season to give the loyal Bears fans something to cheer about.
Jay Cutler has the arm to lead the Bears to a winning season, but he is going to need some help from the rest of the team. Cutler spent much of the season on the bench in 2015 nursing a season ending injury, but he is healthy and is ready to lead the Bears to a successful regular season and possible playoff spot.
The Bears have been working hard all off-season getting prepared for 2016. They will have a healthy quarterback and have drafted some exciting players out of college to help shore-up a team in need of depth. The Bears do face some tough preseason odds of reaching the Super Bowl at 50/1, but stranger things have happened in the NFL.
The Baltimore Ravens are projected to be a middle of the pack team in 2016. Given the constant unpredictability of the AFC North, there’s probably a 25% chance that the Baltimore Ravens win the division.
As many opponents know, going to Baltimore and playing in M&T Stadium isn’t always the easiest task to perform. That’s why the Baltimore Ravens have been assigned 30/1 betting odds by most online betting websites.
With Joe Flacco at quarterback, the Baltimore Ravens have been able to get things done on the offensive side of the ball. While the Ravens have been traditionally known as a defensive team, the Ravens have reinvented themselves with offensive success. As a result, the Ravens are an unpredictable team meaning they could 12 or 13 games just as easily as them winning 7 or 8.
The Ravens have several question marks outside of their veteran Super Bowl winning quarterback. If the Ravens can win out the close games, they will likely have a great shot at securing the NFC North divisional crown. If they can achieve this, finding a path to Super Bowl LI will be much easier for the upstart 2016 Ravens squad.
The 2016 Atlanta Falcons are an early money long-shot to win Super Bowl LI. While the 60/1 betting odds may seem impossible to overcome, stranger things have happened in the NFL. For one thing, the Falcons have Matt Ryan at quarterback. While Ryan has had stretches in his career where he looked like an MVP quarterback, the problems of the Falcons haven’t really been attributed to the play of the quarterback.
If the Falcons can shore up their defense and keep guys healthy throughout the season, the Atlanta Falcons could be one of the biggest threats to pull off of a shocking upset in the Super Bowl. With threats on offense like Julio Jones, the Atlanta Falcons are some of the most talented players on offense.
The defensive additions to the Atlanta Falcons may help the team reverse their defensive woes. Analysts say that the Falcons weren’t afraid to open their pocketbook and spend money on big players. Guys like Courtney Upshaw could help the Falcons in their line-backing corps, which is where the teams needs help the most. If you like betting long-shots to win the Super Bowl, the 2016 Atlanta Falcons provide tremendous value considering the upside that the team could possess.
The Arizona Cardinals are a dangerous team that must get by the Seattle Seahawks in order to win the NFC West division. The Arizona Cardinals had a strong showing last year, seemingly being able to plug any running back into their system while getting immediate results.
Head Coach Bruce Ariens is one of the top coaches in the NFL, as many players say that they enjoy playing for the coach because they respect him so much. Carson Palmer is a seasoned veteran but the Cardinals may have some issues with Palmer due to his age. Last year, his age didn’t seem to be a factor and Palmer had one of the best seasons of his career.
Carson Palmer could be the catalyst in the Arizona Cardinals offense. Palmer has tremendous vision down the field and his ability to always find to open receiver or make a smart decision with the ball helps him manage his team to a victory.
The Cardinals may have tremendous upside considering the fact that many online sportsbooks are giving the team 18/1 preseason betting odds to win Super Bowl LI. If the Cardinals can get past the Seattle Seahawks, they can likely make it pretty far in the 2016 NFL Playoffs.
The Seattle Seahawks have built a team that is almost unbeatable at home. The famous 12th man advantage that the Seahawks have helps them win close games. Can the Seahawks continue their momentum and find a way to win the NFC conference championship and play in Super Bowl LI?
With head coach Pete Carroll and starting quarterback Russell Wilson, the Seahawks have been able to retain a core group of talent that has helped the team win games. Although the Seahawks won the Super Bowl a few seasons ago, they’ve come up short in recent years. This year’s NFL online betting picks point to the Seattle Seahawks as a team seen as built for the future. Many analysts believe that Thomas Rawls will emerge as a star in the backfield while Russell Wilson will continue to light it up.
Receivers such as Doug Baldwin should continue to flourish as the Seahawks continue to find ways to win football games. The Seahawks will likely have a tough time winning the division against the favored Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals and Seahawks will play a home and home series in the NFL Regular Season. Whoever can win in these games could be the team that represents the NFC in the Super Bowl 2017 Championship game.
The New England Patriots are perennial favorites to win the Super Bowl in 2017. Although the Patriots are returning many of the players on their team, the Patriots have bolstered their lineup using the 11 draft picks that the franchise had in the 2016 NFL Draft.
The Patriots expect to get full value out of draft picks such as Kamu Grugier-Hill and Malcolm Mitchell. Although the Patriots are receiving 15/2 betting odds to win the Super Bowl in 2017, the team still boasts the top odds overall in terms of lifting the Lombardi trophy at the end of the season.
The New England Patriots are led at quarterback by Tom Brady and many analysts are privately wondering when Brady will hang up his cleats and ride off into the sunset. Could this year be the last year for future hall of famer Tom Brady? The 2017 NFL season will surely be full of surprises. Because of this unpredictability, the NFL has become the best sport to bet on in terms of sports book wagering. Those who believe in the Patriots may be interested in going ahead and locking in their Super Bowl bet, considering the fact that the Patriots could go on a winning streak and their betting odds for the Super Bowl could become reduced.

The 2nd favorite to win the Super Bowl is the Seattle Seahawks, who are currently getting 9/1 odds.
As you saw last year, the betting odds aren’t always right which means you could stand to gain a huge payoff if the team you select wins the Super Bowl. As one point in the season, the Denver Broncos were getting 16/1 betting odds back in 2015.
Those who enjoy locking in futures bets may enjoy betting on NFL win totals for specific teams. Many online sportsbooks will allow you to lock in bets on over/under totals for individual teams, making it more enticing to follow a specific team throughout the year.
Before you wager on football this week for NFL Week 13 take a read of these free picks and predictions. In particular, we will be looking at AFC South NFL betting odds.
The AFC South division contains the Houston Texans, the Tennessee Titans, the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts are being picked as the overwhelming favorite in this division. The only team that seems to pose a threat for the Colts is the Texans.
Although the Texans are rebuilding after a few bad seasons, they could stand to give the Colts a run for their money during the regular season. The odds of the Colts winning the division are set at –525. If the Houston Texans were to win the division, a sports bettor would get paid off at +450. The Jaguars and Titans are tied for betting odds considering both teams are getting +1,500 betting odds to win the AFC South division.
The Colts and Andrew Luck should have no problem navigating through the AFC South division. If the Colts are able to stay healthy, stay out of controversy and just play their game, they should be able to put together at least 11 wins this season. Not only are the Colts one of the most talented teams in the AFC South division, they are one of the best in the league and the Colts are definitely a team that could win the Lombardi trophy at the end of the NFL 2015-2016 season.
The NFL regular season is coming to a close and we are now getting set for the playoffs and the AFC North division playoff picture. If you have been betting on NFL online games this season then you will know of our winning record with our picks and predictions.
The AFC North has been a hotly contested division over the past few years with the Bengals, Steelers and Ravens all being able to lay claim to the crown. The Browns, who have been in rebuilding mode for the past few years, look to rally behind Johnny Manziel and make an attempt to win the division and get the coveted home playoff game.
If the line setters have picked the AFC North division correctly, one would assume that the division is a three horse race. The Ravens are the overall favorites as they have been priced at +140 betting odds. The Steelers aren’t far behind as they are getting +205 while the Bengals have been given +225 odds. The Cleveland Browns are behind the pack getting +900 betting odds.
Which one of these teams will be able to call themselves AFC North champions? The Ravens will be the team to beat as they look to try and make it back to the Super Bowl. The Steelers have put a good squad together during the offseason and the Bengals, who are quarterbacked by Andy Dalton, are always competitive as well. Don’t discount the Browns though. This young team could surprise teams as they look to put more talented players on the field in this upcoming season.
NFL Week 11 is here! Today we will be focusing on NFL Week 11 picks and predictions starting with the Seahawks hosting the San Francisco 49ers. The NFC West division will be one of the most exciting division in football to follow. The Seattle Seahawks, one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl this season, are considered to be the team to beat within the West conference.
In fact, oddsmakers are giving the Seahawks a price of –300 to win division. The next closest team to the Seahawks is the Arizona Cardinals, who are getting a price of +420 to win the NFC West division. Longer shots such as the St. Louis Rams are getting +720 while the 49ers are being sold at +1,100 odds.
The NFC West should be the Seahawks division to lose. If the Seahawks somehow do not win this division, the entire 2015-2016 season could be considered a monumental let down. Seahawks fans are going into the season with high hopes, given the fact that they are such heavy favorites to win the division and the Super Bowl itself.
Can the Seahawks redeem themselves or will they endure the dreaded Super Bowl runner up hangover that plagues many teams. If the Seahawks lose the division, the Arizona Cardinals will likely be the team that upsets the preseason pick to win the NFC West.
We are going into NFL Week 9 which means that we are more than half-way through the season. You know what that means, right? The NFL playoffs are in sight. Today we will be reviewing NFL playoff betting odds as listed at the MyBookie.ag sportsbook which accepts all players from the U.S. and Canada.
The battle for the NFC South is underway as the division seems to be toss up for all of the teams in the division. There is no clear cut favorite for this division, meaning either the Saints, Falcons, Panthers or Buccaneers have a good shot at winning the division title.
In terms of betting odds, the Panthers are a slight favorite to win the division considering they are getting +185 betting odds. The New Orleans Saints are slightly behind the Panthers sitting at +190. The Atlanta Falcons are getting +230 while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are getting +550. All things considered, for the Buccaneers to be starting a rookie quarterback and to be getting +550 odds to begin the season means that they are somewhat likely to pull off an upset for the division.
The NFC South will be a fun division to watch since there is no clear cut favorite to win the division. When one team wins the division, they are guaranteed a home playoff game. Winning the division is often the first goal of successful teams as it ensures them a spot in the playoffs. No matter which team earns the NFC South spot in the playoffs, they will prove to be a dangerous playoff football opponent due to the fact that conference is so evenly matched.
As we go into NFL Week 9 the potential NFL North Divisional playoff picture is starting to show itself. Today we will be looking ahead to NFL wagering lines for the playoffs.
The NFC North is one of the toughest divisions in all of football. The NFC North features the Green Bay Packers, the Minnesota Vikings, the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions. Each of these teams are putting great competitors on the field and the battle for this divisional crown will be exciting to follow throughout the season.
The Green Bay Packers are the heavy favorites to win the NFC North division. The Packers are currently getting –300 betting odds to win the division outright. The next closest team in terms of betting odds is the Detroit Lions at +475. After that, the Vikings are sitting at +500 while the Bears are the heavy underdogs at +1,500.
The Packers are being picked to roll through the NFC East division. That’s no surprise as the Packers are the preseason favorites to win the Super Bowl, according to some sports betting websites. The key for the Packers to win this season is be able to stay on the field during offense. If the Packers can simply control the ball, their offensive attack will be able to catapult them to a victory.
If the Lions, Vikings or Bears have any shot at winning this division, they will likely need to bring their best game of the season when they all match up against the Green Bay Packers twice this season.
As we make our way towards NFL Sunday Week 7, we take a special sneak peak at NFC East divisional betting odds.
The NFC East conference features the Dallas Cowboys, the Philadelphia Eagles, the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins. Each of these teams battling out the regular season in order to determine a divisional champion. When one of these teams win the division, they are guaranteed a playoff game at home. Depending upon their overall finish throughout the season, one of these teams could become a first round by candidate.
The Dallas Cowboys are currently getting +130 betting odds to win the NFC East. The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t far behind as they are getting +150 betting odds. The Giants are longer shots than the two favorites as sports books have assigned +350 betting odds. The Redskins, longest shot of them all, has been listed at +1,000 betting odds.
Being that the Eagles and Cowboys are being picked to become the cream of the crop within this division, a scenario could play out where one of the teams becomes conference champion and the other becomes the wildcard, thus setting up a rematch in the playoffs. This can sometimes happen in divisions that feature a lot of talent and the NFC East division could be the division that represents the NFC in the 2016 Super Bowl game.
Who will win the NFC Championship? Let’s go over current betting odds and find out, shall we?
The winner of the NFC championship will represent the NFC conference in the Super Bowl this year. The top contenders for the NFC conference championship are the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks. If everything goes as planned, it could be these two teams playing each other in the NFC conference championship game.
As long as the Packers and Seahawks stay healthy, these two teams should be the overwhelming favorites to win the NFC conference championship. Odds makers have assigned both the Packers 14/5 betting odds while the Seahawks have been assigned 16/5 betting odds. According to the odds, it’s a practical coin flip as to which team will represent the NFC conference in Super Bowl 50 with the Packers being a slight favorite.
Although the Packers and Seahawks are the favorites, football fans shouldn’t discount the Dallas Cowboys chances of winning the NFC as they have been assigned 13/2 betting odds. The Cowboys NFC East division rivals the Philadelphia Eagles have a decent chance of making the Super Bowl as sports books have them listed at 15/1 betting odds.
If the odds makers are correct, the likely Super Bowl representatives of the NFC conference will be the Packers, Seahawks, Cowboys or Eagles. The 2015-2016 NFL regular season will help position these teams for their ultimate goal of lifting the Lombardi trophy.
Today we look at NFL online betting picks for Week 7 when the Atlanta Falcons play the Tennessee Titans. Current online bookmakers have the Falcons posted as -7 point road favorites.
The Tennessee Titans have endured some pretty big changes in the offseason. Could the changes to the Titans organization help them achieve their dream of raising a Super Bowl trophy at the end of the 2015-2016 season?
The Titans are at the bottom of the list when it comes to teams who have a shot at winning the Super Bowl. The Titans are currently being listed 150/1 betting odds on sports book websites. If the Titans were to win the Super Bowl, rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota will need have a record breaking season as a rookie. The Titans need all of the help that they can get on both sides of the ball.
The Titans have had a string of questionable quarterbacks for the past few seasons and it’s been nearly 7 years since the team has put together a winning season. Mariota will need to prove himself as being a primetime player from the first snap of the season or else the pressure of playing for a losing team may hurt his confidence.
Mariota is known as one of the nicest guys in football and legendary quarterback Kurt Warner said Mariota is well ahead of expectations. As a side note about Kurt Warner and his first Super Bowl win, his Rams started out the season as 50/1 underdogs to win in that year and he did it against the Tennessee Titans!
NFL betting picks and predictions for Week 7 of the NFL regular season. First up, we take a look at the Buffalo Bills visit to Jacksonville to play the Jaguars.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are one of the youngest teams in the league. The young roster looks to mature this season as start their quest for a Super Bowl birth. Unfortunately for the Jaguars, they have been assigned one of the lowest probabilities of winning Super Bowl 50 out of almost every team in the league. The Jaguars odds of winning the Super Bowl this season are currently 150/1.
The Jaguars come into the 2015-2016 season needing to dominate on offense, defense and special teams in order to have a chance at beating most other teams. The Jaguars have built their franchise around Blake Bortles. Another name that may stick out to Jaguars fans is Justin Blackmon, who is one of the better wide receivers in the league. Denard Robinson, the former Michigan standout, is also suiting up at wide receiver for the Jaguars.
Head coach Gus Bradley will be leading the charge for the Jaguars this season. The Jaguars play their home games at the EverBank Field sporting facility. Since the Jaguars are in the AFC South, they will likely finish either 3rd or 4th in the division behind the Colts, Texans or potentially the Titans. The Jaguars will need a miracle of a season in order to win the Super Bowl in 2016.
NFL Week 5 continues tomorrow with the Washington Redskins visiing Atlanta to play the Falcons. Current bookmakers have the Redskins sitting at +7 point road underdogs.
The Washington Redskins have endured troubles both on the field and off the field during the past several months. With starting quarterback Robert Griffin III enduring injuries last season, it will be interesting to see if he can stay healthy and become a factor.
The Redskins are heavy underdogs to win the Super Bowl in 2016. Basically, the odds makers have assigned them 125/1 betting odds. That’s not impossible, but it’s definitely not probable by any means either. With Jay Gruden as head coach, the Redskins look to pull off a few upsets in order to become contenders for the Lombardi trophy.
The Redskins have a long road ahead of them. The Redskins play their home games at one of the NFLs largest outdoor stadiums, FedEx Field. It is possible that the Redskins could surprise the league on defense as this seems to their weakest link. If Jay Gruden can somehow motivate this defense to become a factor in the regular season, it is entirely possible that the Redskins will string together enough wins in order to qualify for the playoffs. With such a versatile quarterback like RG3, it becomes clear that even though the Redskins are longshots to win Super Bowl 50, they can still be a dangerous team on any given night.
Football is in the air and the NFL regular season has finally kicked off! That also usually means that the online betting season has started. The San Francisco 49ers open the season at home when they face the Minnesota Vikings. The 49ers are currently +3 point underdogs at home.
In years past, the San Francisco 49ers have been perennial picks to win the Super Bowl. In this upcoming NFL season, the 49ers are being picked to finish either 3rd or 4th in their division. The 49ers are in a rebuilding season and need some help from the talent they’ve acquired in order win some football games this season. The 49ers have been assigned 60/1 preseason betting odds to win Super Bowl 50. If the 49ers even make the playoffs, they will likely need a lot of help from their quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Although the 49ers have talents like Reggie Bush, Vernon Davis and others, some analysts believe that this could be a down season for the 49ers. One of the biggest changes for the 49ers is their transition at the head coaching spot. The latest coach for the 49ers Is Jim Tomsula. One thing that is impressive about the 49ers is that they have won 5 Super Bowl Championships in their illustrious tenure within the NFL which means if you want to make your NFL bets then we suggest you do so now. The 49ers last Super Bowl win came in 1994, although the team had a straight in the 80s that netted them 4 championships over a span of 8 or 9 seasons.
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers in NFL Week 1 betting action matchup and the top NFL US sportsbooks have the Chicago Bears sitting at +7 point road underdogs. Our NFL online betting pick for this game is to take the Bears with the 7 points.
The Chicago Bears are a hard nosed football team that is looking to redefine itself as an offensive powerhouse in the NFL. Jay Cutler, the controversial starting quarterback of the Bears, is healthy and ready to start the 2016 season. Matt Forte will also be a force in the Bear’s backfield as he looks to maximize his potential at running back this year.
The Bears are coached by John Fox and play all of their games at Soldier Field. The Bears are long shots to win the Super Bowl this year, but with the field so wide open this year, it’s really hard to pick a clear cut favorite. The unpredictability factor in the NFL only plays in the Bears favor. Although the Bears are listed as 60/1 underdogs to win Super Bowl 50, they could stand to become a force in the NFC North.
The Bears will have a tough road ahead of them as they play the Packers, Lions and Vikings twice in one season. The Bears have proven to be a team that can overcome adversity and develop the talent that they have drafted. Perhaps some playmakers will step up on both sides of the ball and give Chicago the boost they need in order pull off a Super Bowl shocker.
Watch out, Adrian Peterson is coming for you! The Minnesota Vikings are up and in NFL Week 1 they are playing the San Francisco 49ers. The Vikings are -3 point road favorites but we feel that the 49ers are going to beat the Vikings worse than Adrian Peterson can beat kids.
The Minnesota Vikings are an emerging team in the NFL. The Vikings play in one of the most difficult divisions throughout the league considering they must play the Packers, Bears and Lions twice per season.
Up and coming young quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has shown signs of greatness during the past season. Will Bridgewater endure a slump or will the young quarterback who is known for his phenomenal work ethic become a star in the NFL?
Another big point of contention is that controversial starting running back Adrian Peterson will be able play in the NFL this season. As of now, Peterson is still on the Vikings roster. Peterson is known as one of the best running backs in the NFL and he is wearing purple and gold this season, teams will have a hard a time stopping the Vikings running game.
Mike Zimmer is the head coach of the Vikings this year. The Vikings play their home games at US Bank Stadium and they look to defy the 50/1 odds placed on them by online sports books to win Super Bowl 50. The Vikings have a long season ahead of them if they look to be victorious throughout the NFL season. If the Vikings can string together a few unexpected wins, they could be playing for a spot in the NFL Super Bowl.
Well, folks we have a pick’em in tomorrow’s NFL matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans. A Pick (-110) means that if you bet $110 on either the Houston Texans or Kansas City Chiefs you will get $210 back with $100 of that being profit and the other $110 being your Risk Amount. To further our series of the Best NFL Games to Bet On, today we will go over our picks and predictions. Our Pick in this game is to bet on the Houston Texans and here’s why.
The Houston Texans come into the 2015 NFL online betting season looking to beat the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South division. The Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars are not expected to be factors in the AFC South race therefore making it a two team contest between the Colts and Texans.
The Texans are the underdogs in the AFC South however the NFL Week 1 is an unpredictable game and each team plays the season for a reason. The Texans look to get a playoff berth either by becoming a wildcard team or by winning the AFC South division altogether.
The Texans have two Tom Brady understudies in their quarterback lineup. Both Ryan Mallet and Brian Hoyer, former New England Patriots, are competing for the starting job under center. Defensive standout J.J. Watt is one of the most exciting defensive ends to watch in the entire NFL.
Head coach Bill O’Brien, another former Patriot assistant coach, has assumed head coaching duties for the new look Texans. Although the Texans are flying under the radar, that may prove to be a positive for them as they look to defy the 50/1 betting odds placed on them by online sports books. The Texans play their home games inside of NRG Stadium.
Tomorrow, the Detroit Lions will match up against the San Diego Chargers for NFL Week 1 betting. In short, if you want to bet on this NFL game then check out our recommended US sportsbooks above.
The Detroit Lions are one of the few teams that hold the distinction of never playing the Super Bowl. Although the Lions have never played in a Super Bowl game, that doesn’t mean that you should rule them out of a potential appearance or even a win in the big game this year.
If any Lions team could show up in the Super Bowl, there is no good reason to not pick this year squad. The Lions start veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford and star receiver Calvin Johnson on offense. The QB and WR duo seems to make a lot of deep connections down the field. As long as Stafford puts the ball in the general vicinity of Johnson, the Lions can trust that Johnson will come down with the ball.
The Lions can become a factor in the season if they simply show up on defense. The Lions have one of the most potent offenses in the league and many games that the Lions are involved in have become high scoring affairs. With Jim Caldwell as head coach, the Lions could be a team that storm the NFL by surprise. The Detroit Lions play their home games at Ford Field.
Want to bet on the Cincinnati Bengals in NFL Week 1? Current oddsmakers have the Bengals listed as -3.5 road favorites over the Oakland Raiders. The Cincinnati Bengals have shown themselves to be good enough to get into the playoffs several times in the past years. There’s only one problem, the Bengals seem to have trouble winning games in the postseason.
The Bengals start their 2015-2016 campaign with high hopes. The Bengals are in a talented division that features the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns. Notable players on the Bengals roster are Andy Dalton, A.J. Green, Jeremy Hill and AJ Hawk. In fact, if you include AJ McCarron, the backup quarterback, it could be said that the Bengals have 3 people named AJ on their roster.
Marvin Lewis has remained with Bengals for well over a decade and he is becoming one of the longest tenured coaches in the NFL in terms of being with the same team for a consecutive amount of seasons. The Bengals enter the 2015 NFL season as a 50/1 longshot to win Super Bowl 50.
Although the Bengals have struggled in the playoffs in the past, this year’s squad may have some success given the shear factor of unpredictability that the NFL brings fans each and every week during the season. The fact that any team can win makes the NFL so much fun to watch.
It’s Week 1 of the NFL season and the St. Louis Rams are taking on the Seattle Seahawks. The St. Louis Rams are currently +4.5 point underdogs at most NFL online betting sites and we recommend taking a look at the Top Bet sportsbook to wager on this game.
The St. Louis Rams are a team that could be a considered in a rebuilding phase. The Rams start former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles under center this season and look to stay competitive in the NFC West conference.
Coached by Jeff Fisher, the Rams are balanced on both sides of the ball and will likely keep games close throughout the season. If the Rams can get a few lucky breaks, they could acquire enough wins that will qualify the team for the playoffs. If the Rams find themselves in a playoff spot, anything can happen!
The St. Louis Rams currently hold 45/1 preseason betting odds to win the Super Bowl in 2016. The Rams home stadium is called the Edward Jones Dome and the fact that they play indoors could be an advantage over visiting, out of conference opponents. The roster of the 2015-2016 Rams includes names such as Tavon Austin, Todd Gurley and Tre Mason. Upstart young quarterback Austin Davis is available as a reserve quarterback incase his services were ever needed.
It’s unlikely that the Rams will win the Super Bowl in 2016 due to the fact that some rosters in the NFL seem to have more talent than what the Rams are bringing to the field. With that said, on any given Sunday, any team in the NFL can win and the St. Louis Rams could shock a few teams when the seasons all said and done.

Although the Chargers are an underdog in their own division, it is possible that they get a wild card appearance and make a significant run in the postseason.
On August 12 after Tom Brady attended a federal court hearing regarding the Deflategate controversy, there seemed to be just as much talk (if not more) about the courtroom sketch of him that was done that day than the actual hearing itself.
The sketch was done by Jane Rosenberg, an artist who has 35 years of experience. After the artwork went viral, she said, “I apologize for not making him look pretty enough to the world. Tom Brady is a very good-looking guy.” Social media went wild with a multitude of memes, and the sketch was certainly one of the topics du jour. Many were comparing her sketch of him with the likes of ET and The Scream by Edvard Munch. Despite all the negative comments, she reportedly received many offers from those who wanted to buy the sketch, as well as a request from The Sports Museum in Boston to have a loan of the sketch for a month.
When the time came around on August 31 for her to draw Brady again, everyone was waiting to see what she would come up with. Beforehand, she told the New York Daily News, “There’s a lot of pressure on me. A lot of eyeballs on me. I just hope my hands can move, period. I know I’m not going to have any sleep tonight. I still might blow it; anything could happen.”
Well, anything did happen, and it was great results. Before doing the second courtroom sketch, she also spent two days working on another sketch of the New England Patriots Quarterback. Rosenberg explained, “I still found him very hard to draw — from a photo as well. Something subtle goes on with his eyes. He has a big chin with a cleft in it.”
A round of applause for Rosenberg’s talent please.
