Carolina Panthers Season Preview

The Carolina Panthers will bounce back this season and become a force to be reckoned with in the NFC South division. In today’s Carolina Panthers preview we will be looking at the obstacles Cam Newtonw and the Panthers need to overcome in order to make a decent playoff run this year. Led by Cam Newton, the Panthers look to build on their success from last year and surprise the league by making a Super Bowl appearance. The Panthers play their home games at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ron Rivera was on the hot seat last year but after the Panthers’ turn around, Rivera seems to have a firm grip on the coaching position. DeAngelo Williams is a fan favorite for the Carolina Panthers.

Carolina Panthers Preview

The Panthers were founded in 1995 and the team belongs to the ultra competitive NFC South. The Panthers will have a tough road to the playoffs given the fact that they will face the Saints, Falcons and Bucs twice in a season. In fact, the Panthers start their season out by playing the Buccaneers on the road. If Cam Newton and the Panthers plan on being successful, they will need to have a good start to their season. If the Panthers can win their first few games against the Bucs, Lions, Steelers and Ravens, the team may be poised for success in the postseason. The Carolina Panthers have been assigned 33/1 future betting odds for winning the Super Bowl.

Buffalo Bills Wagering Line

The Buffalo Bills start their 2014 campaign by traveling to Chicago to play the Bears on Sunday, September 7th 2014. The Bills season will be a fun one to watch considering the Bills have picked up some exciting players in the NFL draft as reflected in Buffalo Bills wagering lines for the upcoming 2014-15 NFL regular season. Sammy Watkins could be the best player in the draft and the Wide Receiver is expected to make plenty of ESPN Sports Center highlight reels in his rookie season.

EJ Manuel

The Bills have a unique preseason schedule in the fact that they will play the standard 4 preseason games but the Bills will also play in the Hall of Fame game which is held near Canton, Ohio. This special game is a precursor to the preseason and the customary scrimmage has become a tradition in the NFL. The Bills could start E.J. Manuel as their quarterback this season. C.J. Spiller is an exciting player to watch and he will be one many fans will want to add to their fantasy football roster this upcoming season. The Bills play their home games in Orchard Park, NY at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Doug Marrone is the head coach of the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are a long shot to win the Super Bowl at 75/1 betting odds.

Baltimore Ravens 2014 Odds

The Baltimore Ravens begin their season by playing the division rival Cincinnati Bengals at home. The Ravens play their home games at M&T Bank Stadium and their head coach is John Harbaugh. John Harbaugh is the brother of 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh and the two brothers once played a Super Bowl against each other in which John and the Ravens won. Joe Flacco is the starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens and Ray Rice is another premier player on the roster. We could have posted a picture of Rice and Flacco below, but we figured you would much rather look at the 2014 Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders.

Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders

This team is always a tough draw in the NFL playoffs and the Ravens seem to have what it takes to go deep in the playoffs each year. The Ravens are rich with history considering the fact that the team was founded in 1996. In less than 20 years, the team has won 2 Super Bowls which is a marquis achievement of any franchise. Some franchises such as the Detroit Lions have never even been to the Super Bowl. What’s even crazier is that the Baltimore Ravens have a legit shot at winning more Super Bowls. Perhaps they aren’t the favorites but the Ravens are getting 40/1 betting odds on winning the Super Bowl 2015. If you had an extra $5 laying around, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to bet on this team just incase the Ravens show up and win the Super Bowl being hosted in Arizona on February 1st 2015.

2014 Atlanta Falcons Preview

The Atlanta Falcons start their season by playing their arch nemesis the New Orleans Saints. This game will be played on the Falcons home turf at the Georgia Dome. The Georgia Dome is located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. These two teams have engaged in a bitter rivalry and the division will probably come down to the better of these two teams.

Atlanta Falcons 2014 Preview

The Falcons have their starting quarterback Matt Ryan who is better known as Matty Ice for his clutch playing ability. The Falcons then play the Bengals in Cincinnati during Week 2 of the NFL season. These two games will test the resolve of head coach Mike Smith given the fact that this season could be the make or break year for the embattled coach. The Atlanta Falcons are members of the NFC South and the team started playing football back in 1965. Roddy White will also be a welcomed edition to the 2014 Atlanta Falcons roster. As the Atlanta Falcons look to prove themselves to the world, the team will be up against 33/1 betting odds according to NFL future odds posted on various sources online. If the Falcons can win their division, the team will have a legitimate shot at making an appearance in the Super Bowl.

Arizona Cardinals 2014 Preview

The Arizona Cardinals start their season by playing the San Diego Chargers. The Cardinals start this 2014 campaign with Carson Palmer as the quarterback. Bruce Arians is the head coach the Arizona Cardinals and the team plays their home games at the University of Phoenix Stadium. The team was founded in 1988 and the Cardinals are a part of the NFC West division.

Arizona Cardinals 2014

Larry Fitzgerald is probably one of the most beloved Arizona Cardinal players of all time. His classic highlight reel plays when he played with Kurt Warner and surprised the entire world by making a run in the playoffs and making it to the Super Bowl several years ago. The Arizona Cardinals will try to recapture that magic by fielding a team of veterans who can get the job done. If you believe in Super Bowl curses, the Seattle Seahawks could have an off year. If the 49ers aren’t firing on all cylinders, Bruce Arians and Carson Palmer could be the toast of the division. Online bookmakers have the Cardinals currently listed at 40/1 in terms of winning the Super Bowl. These odds are quite lucrative given the unpredictability factor of the NFL. Could the Cardinals make the Super Bowl? If conditions are favorable, the team could stand a chance at making a run for the Lombardi trophy.

Greatest Sports Upsets: Miracle on Ice

With a potential NFL upset looming in Super Bowl 48 between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, many NFL fans are looking forward to a possible big pay day. This got us to thinking about some of the biggest sports upsets of all time in American sports.

The Miracle on Ice was the name coined for the Ice Hockey match between the Soviet Union and the United States of America in the 1980 winter Olympics, which the United States had officially boycotted.

The match defines the term “upset win” on so many levels. Firstly, it was during the cold war, when tensions were at a sky high between the two superpowers at that time; the Soviet Union and the United States of America. This was more than just a hockey match; it was a war for supremacy between the two mighty titans.

The Russians had dominated the ice rink, with a spotless track record and experienced players who had more than a few years of working together. The Americans on the other hand, were a group of amateur hockey players, most of them on the collegiate level, with little to no experience working as a team on the rink. Being the 7th seed among the 12 teams in the 1980’s Olympics, the odds were heavily against them. To add to the odds, the Russians had already beaten the Americans once, with a score of 10-3. Things definitely weren’t looking good for Uncle Sam.

What followed, however, went completely against predictions. With a tied score of 3-3 and a little time left on the clock, the legendary words of Al Michael “Do you believe in miracles? Yes!” resonated television sets as the Americans scored a final score for a 4-3 win, proving that miracles really do happen.

NFL Offseason Conditioning

The NFL’s New York Jets: Off-season NFL conditioning and how they train during the playoffs that they are not in.

Every spring brings in dozens of elite NFL players to the University of Miami for one of the toughest “balls to the wall” off-season conditioning regimens. As you set foot inside the training facility which is imperative if they want to make it to Super Bowl 2014 for online betting picks and predictions, don’t be surprised to see a linebacker squinting while exhaling or barking an expletive or two as he attempts to complete a 100-rep set of Javorek Jackknife crunches.

NFL Training Camp

This is the weight room in the University of Miami, where NFL warriors assemble as early as 6:30 am to take in a good punishment and ready themselves for the battle next season. The windows here boast panoramic and scenic views of the practice field. Just a few feet away you’d see another player knock down a set of fast, explosive bicep curls. Look the other way, and you’d see another one squatting near-mammoth loads. Affectionately referred to as the “the U”, veteran NFL players keep the place quite busy during off-season.

Strength coaches of almost all teams prefer that the players spend their downtime training in the teams’ respective headquarters. This not only reinforces the team concept, but also boosts camaraderie and brotherhood. If nothing else, it acts as a great motivator for those less than thrilled to spend time in the weight room during off-season.

NFL Conference Finals

Omaha! Can you believe that Peyton Manning yelled out “Omaha!” 42 times in last Sunday’s Broncos win over the San Diego Chargers? Rumor on the street is that Omaha Steaks is prepared to pay Peyton Manning a hefty sum of cash if Peyton Manning yells out “Omaha Steaks” in his next game.

This Sunday we have two very exciting NFL Conference Final games to preview. In the early game we have a huge matchup between Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos hosting Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in yet another AFC Conference Final game. Top sports betting sites have the Broncos to win this game by -4 points which will be a daunting task against a very well coached Patriots team with Bill Belichick behind the wheel.

Peyton Manning Betting

In the late game for the West Coast we have the San Francisco 49ers traveling to Seattle to play the Seahawks and the 12th man. Current NFL playoff betting odds have Seahawks favored to win the NFC Championship by -3 points.

Saints at Seahawks Playoff Odds

Many questions have been asked over the past few days including, “Can the New Orleans Saints upset the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle?”, followed with, “Are Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks defense overrated?”

All these questions and more will be answered this Saturday, January 11th, 2014 at 4:35 PM EST when the New Orleans Saints travel to the Pacific Northwest to face the Seattle Seahawks. Current NFL betting odds have the Seattle Seahawks sitting pretty as -8 point home favorites, despite coming off of a bye week where we all saw a heroic effort from Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.

Saints Seahawks Betting

It seems like just a few years ago the Saints won over the hearts of the nation after winning the Super Bowl and bringing back hope to a city that had lost so much. New Orleans is a town that is still rebuilding from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Drew Brees took the world by surprise when that team won the NFL’s most illustrious honor.

The Saints are outsiders make it to the Super Bowl this season but that has never stopped this upstart football team. Sean Payton seems to be coaching at the highest level and team seems to be playing solid all around. It will be interesting to see if the Saints make it into the playoffs as a wild card or as a division winner. The Saints rarely lose in their home of the Super Dome and the offense seems work better on turf than it does in outdoor settings. This leads up to an important question. Could the Saints be hurt by playing in an outdoor Super Bowl? Tune in on February 2nd 2014 to see the exciting conclusion of the NFL season. The Saints are currently at 11/1 betting odds to win the Super Bowl.

Best NFL Week 17 Bets

In the last week of NFL football, Week 17, we preview the best NFL bets to help you get a leg up on your sportsbook going into the 2014 NFL Playoffs. We have two very exciting games to bet on this weekend; Ravens and Bengals, and Packers and Bears in a Divisional Game that will feature Aaron Rodgers`s return to the Packers. It`s win or go home this Sunday.

The defending Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens will look to extend their season by sneaking into the playoffs with a win against the Bengals. Andy Dalton is the quarterback for the Bengals and his efficient play has been good enough for this defensive minded team to lead the AFC North division most of the year. This week 17 clash between the Ravens and Bengals will take place at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 29th 2013 at 1PM EST. Joe Flacco received a large contract last year and this game could define his career going forward as a quarterback on the up tick or the down tick based on his performance.

The Bengals and Ravens are always fun teams to place bets on because the spreads in these intense division rivalry games seems to grind out very small margins of victory. This being said, betting the spread on this game could be tricky because it could go either way. The Ravens will be desperate for a win and this game could be a make or break game for many of the players on the roster. Money line wagers are encouraged on this game. Finding sports betting action online is fast, fun and easy regardless of where you live. Use the internet to bet on the NFL today.

NFL Week 16 Online Betting

Week 16 NFL Odds: Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs

If you are looking to do a little sportsbetting in NFL Week 16 then we have some big matchups which we call our best NFL games to bet on this Sunday.

The Colts and the Chiefs are two of the biggest surprises in the 2013 NFL Season. The Chiefs play a hard nosed style of football while Andrew Luck and the Colts air it out and win games with a finesse offense. When Reggie Wayne was injured, the Colts began to look like a different team. The Chiefs have also shown that they aren’t invincible after losing a few games after their hot start to the season. These two teams are definitely above average and there is a good chance that this week 16 face off at Arrowhead Pond in Kansas City will be a preview of an AFC playoff game we will see in January. Alex Smith and the Chiefs will look to defend their home turf as the Colts come to play on Sunday, December 22nd 2013 at 1PM EST.

NFL Week 16 Sportsbetting

The Chiefs are projected to be the favorites in this NFL week 16 game. Wagering on the NFL using a sports book is a way that many football fans liven up their game day experience. Finding NFL odds online is easy if you are prudent and put in the research. Baltimore Ravens at Detroit Lions Betting

If you want to bet on this Monday’s NFL matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions check out the below betting odds that have the Lions sitting at -6 point home favorites.

The Baltimore Ravens will look to make the playoffs one year after winning the Super Bowl. It will certainly be an uphill battle because the team has been trailing the Bengals in the AFC North division all season long. If the pieces fall into play in week 14, the week 15 matchup with the Lions could have big playoff implications for this team if they are able to win.

The Lions have been leading their NFC north division for the majority of the season yet their lead is razor thin over their ultra-competitive division. Joe Flacco will look to lead his team to victory on the road in Detroit as these two teams meet up on Monday Night Football in Week 15. This game will be telecast nationwide and internationally at 8:40PM EST on Monday, December 16th 2013.

Monday Night Football

The Lions will be the home favorites in this game and this should be a good game to bet the over under. These two teams certainly know how to put some points and since this game is being held in a dome, a recommended wager for this contest is on the over, given that the point total is reasonable.

Monday Night Football games typically tend to be high scoring and this game expected to be no exception.

Falcons at Packers

This Sunday we have a slew of crucial NFL matchups that will either secure or end any playoff hopes NFL teams on the bubble have. One big matchup this Sunday, December 8th, 2013 comes to us from nowhere else but Green Bay.

The Matt Ryan led Atlanta Falcons will travel to Green Bay to play the Packers. Betting odds earlier this week opened up at -6.5 for the Green Bay Packers but some online sportsbooks such as Bovada have temporarily removed betting odds between the Falcons and Packers. Basically, if the Green Bay Packers want a shot to make it into the 2014 NFL Playoffs then this Sunday’s game is a must win, and in order to win Aaron Rodgers must play.

Aaron Rodgers Injury

Will Aaron Rodgers Play

This week started out with many fans and bettors asking Will Aaron Rodgers Play on Sunday? and those questions were answered with reports that Rodgers was 2/3 of the way in returning as of Wednesday, however this has changed once again. Insiders are now predicting Aaron Rodgers will not play this Sunday which indicates a really good chance that the Packers will lose and thus killing off any hopes of making the playoffs. The latest update on Aaron Rodger’s injury is that his broken collar bone has not healed properly and is more like 1/3 of the way in returning. Matt Flynn will be starting in place of Aaron Rodgers on Sunday in NFL Week 14.

If you want to bet on this game check out the above reviewed NFL online betting sites to find the latest Falcons and Packers betting odds.

Thursday Night Football Week 14

It is with a heavy heart we bring you tonight’s preview between the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars. Earlier today Nelson Mandela passed away from complications from a lung infection at the age of 95. From 1918-2013 the world was a better place with Mandela fighting for freedom everywhere so today when we celebrate Thursday Night football we remember it is made possible because of men and women like Nelson Mandela.

Thursday Texans Jaguars

Tonight the Houston Texans travel to Jacksonville to play the Jaguars. Currently odds makers have the the home team Jacksonville Jaguars sitting at +3.5 home team underdogs. Can J.J. Watt and the Houston Texans go into Florida and take the win? We don’t seem to think so.

Despite the Texans being the early favorites in tonight’s Thursday Night game, we think betting on the Jaguars at home is a good bet considering what typically tends to happen during Nationally televised games with all of the country watching. The Jacksonville Jaguars love playing the role of spoiler and tonight at home we expect a big game and for the Texans to be caught off-guard.

The moneyline odds are sitting at -165 for the Texans, and +145 for the Jaguars. Total points for the Over/Under are 43.5. Our NFL betting picks for the Thursday night game in Week 14 would be to take the Jaguars on the Moneyline at +145 and the Under 43.5 points if you’re feeling lucky and you want to parlay.

Monday Night Football December 2nd

NFL Week 13: Saints at Seahawks
The Saints will travel northwest to play the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field on Monday Night Football. This game will take place on December 2nd 2013 and kick off is set to begin at 8:40PM EST. Saints at Seahawks Monday

These two teams may end up playing each other again in the playoffs therefore it is important for sports bettors to watch this game and take notes. These notes could be valuable if you have the chance to bet on these two teams again in the future. It is unclear which team will be the favorites in this contest. Seattle is known for having one of the loudest home fields in the NFL. It will be interesting to see how someone like Drew Brees reacts to this type of pressure.

Speaking of pressure, have you ever bet on the NFL and had the result of your bet hinge on the last play of the game? If so, betting on this game may yield the same result. NFL Week 13 Bets

These two teams have played each other very closely in the past which makes betting the point spread in the game a very enticing option. Last year, these two teams actually tied each other. NFL Week 13 Rams at 49ers

The Rams at 49ers game will kickoff at 4:05 PM EST in San Francisco. Our NFL Week 13 picks are to take the San Francisco 49ers at -8 points with the total points sitting at 42. The Jets starting quarterback is Geno Smith because Mark Sanchez is currently injured. Joe Flacco is the starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens. Each of these teams have an uphill battle in order to make the playoffs however the wildcard spot is not out of reach. Both teams have played impressively as the season moves along and you can tell that each of these quarterbacks have matured as the season has went along. Needless to say, the Ravens are the favorites in their week 12 match up with the New York Jets.

Broncos at Chiefs Sunday Night Game

In tonight’s late Sunday night game we have the Denver Broncos heading into Kansas City to play Andy Reid’s Chiefs. The Broncos have only lost one game this season which is exactly one more loss than Alex Smith and the KC Chiefs have suffered. Current online sportsbooks have the Broncos sitting at -8 point road favorites with the Chiefs as +8 point home underdogs.

Most bookmakers have the Broncos going all the way to Super Bowl 2014, yet the Chiefs are the undefeated team. Many have argued that the Chiefs, led by their quarterback Alex Smith, are underrated and should be in the conversation of Super Bowl XLVII favorites. We should have the answer to these questions and more after tonight’s matchup between the Broncos and Chiefs.

Broncos Chiefs Week 11

NFL Week 11 Betting

So far in NFL Week 11 we have seen the Colts defeat the Titans by 3 points, but not cover the spread which made bettors a lot of quick cash after the first game in Week 11. Then we saw the Washington Redskins do battle against the Philadelphia Eagles in a very tight game, followed by the San Francisco 49ers visit to New Orleans where Drew Brees was his classic self.

After 11 weeks of football there have been a lot of NFL online betting trends that went by the waist side because of some incredible defensive play that nobody saw coming. Who would have thought that the Carolina Panther’s defense would be this good after 11 weeks of football and you could tell that Tom Brady and the Patriots were not ready for the Panthers defense.
