New York Giants Betting Favorites

A few weeks into the NFL betting season the New York Giants are playing their “underdog” card again. Now head coach Tom Coughlin says him and his players are getting no respect despite winning two Super Bowls in the last few seasons.

The NFL regular season kicks off on Wednesday September the 5th at 8:30PM EST on NBC when the Dallas Cowboys travel to Metlife Stadium to face the Superbowl Champion New York Giants. This primetime season opener will have all of the bravada associated with kicking off a new NFL season. This game is potentially a preview of a game we may see happen again in the playoffs.

The Cowboys and Giants rivalry needs almost no introduction. With Tony Romo returning as one of the leagues best out of the pocket passers, the Cowboys look to start off their season on a positive note. It will be tough to beat the reigning Superbowl champions on their home field but if any team can do it, the Dallas Cowboys are the team to do it.

If Eli Manning comes out and plays like he played to finish the season last year, the Cowboys defense may be in for a long night. When Eli Manning is playing at his best, he is simply unstoppable. It will be interesting to see how Manning performs against this stacked Dallas defense. Rob Ryan was hired as the Cowboy’s defensive coordinator so that he could shore up any weaknesses against the division rivals. This NFL opening night game will be a big test to see if Rob Ryan’s defense will be able to hold off a talented team like the Giants who will undoubtedly make the NFL playoffs again in 2013 for a shot at Super Bowl 2013 in New Orleans. When it comes to New York Giants betting in the NFL playoffs you know that they are a good pick for Super Bowl 2013 for NFL wagering types.
