Redskins at Falcons Betting Preview

NFL Week 5 continues tomorrow with the Washington Redskins visiing Atlanta to play the Falcons. Current bookmakers have the Redskins sitting at +7 point road underdogs.

The Washington Redskins have endured troubles both on the field and off the field during the past several months. With starting quarterback Robert Griffin III enduring injuries last season, it will be interesting to see if he can stay healthy and become a factor.

The Redskins are heavy underdogs to win the Super Bowl in 2016. Basically, the odds makers have assigned them 125/1 betting odds. That’s not impossible, but it’s definitely not probable by any means either. With Jay Gruden as head coach, the Redskins look to pull off a few upsets in order to become contenders for the Lombardi trophy.

Redskins Falcons Week 5

The Redskins have a long road ahead of them. The Redskins play their home games at one of the NFLs largest outdoor stadiums, FedEx Field. It is possible that the Redskins could surprise the league on defense as this seems to their weakest link. If Jay Gruden can somehow motivate this defense to become a factor in the regular season, it is entirely possible that the Redskins will string together enough wins in order to qualify for the playoffs. With such a versatile quarterback like RG3, it becomes clear that even though the Redskins are longshots to win Super Bowl 50, they can still be a dangerous team on any given night.
