Saints at Seahawks Playoff Odds

Many questions have been asked over the past few days including, “Can the New Orleans Saints upset the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle?”, followed with, “Are Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks defense overrated?”

All these questions and more will be answered this Saturday, January 11th, 2014 at 4:35 PM EST when the New Orleans Saints travel to the Pacific Northwest to face the Seattle Seahawks. Current NFL betting odds have the Seattle Seahawks sitting pretty as -8 point home favorites, despite coming off of a bye week where we all saw a heroic effort from Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints are outsiders make it to the Super Bowl this season but that has never stopped this upstart football team. Sean Payton seems to be coaching at the highest level and team seems to be playing solid all around. It will be interesting to see if the Saints make it into the playoffs as a wild card or as a division winner. The Saints rarely lose in their home of the Super Dome and the offense seems work better on turf than it does in outdoor settings. This leads up to an important question.
